Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer. (Psalm19:14)
In Psalm 19:4, David addresses the Lord as his rock and his redeemer. He recognized that the Lord was the provider of his security and his salvation. By shedding His blood on the cross, Jesus is our Redeemer and as our living Lord He keeps us safe (1 Peter 1:3–5).
These are the words that inspire my meditation, and I pray that it shall inspire your meditation too and cause you to know that he is more than able to do all things and to protect and provide for you even in times of need and danger. I may not be able to express my appreciation to God for all that He does for me through my words, but I pray that my heart, your heart, will always express our appreciation of his goodness.
